Is the bedroom being used by one person or two? How many pieces of furniture can I fit in? What pieces are essential? Obviously a bed, do I need more than one chest of drawers? How many wardrobes will I need? Could some pieces be dual purpose? If I have a large bedroom, should I go for larger items i.e. a triple wardrobe which may look more in proportion in the room? At AKKA bedroom furniture we take the responsibilty of using ethical timbers very seriously. This means that we only use our american timbers that come with a forestry stewardship council stamp. This will identify that the timber has been sourced from a mill and forest owners that participate in managing it’s forests by re-planting trees after logging has taken place. This encourages people who live in the poorer parts of the world to see that they can still make money from the trees but also still see their natural habitat not totally disappear around them.
